Three Stone Hearth in the East Bay is a wonderful organization. I have ordered from them and volunteered there on several occasions. They use Mason jars to store much of their food. It inspired me to start using them in place of plastic tupperware. The idea of putting hot leftovers into plastic is not appealing, given that plastic contains so many weird chemicals. It gives the kitchen a sweet old timey feel. My dad bought us a little funnel that we use all the time. I recommend investing in one if you decide to go the mason jar route. - Erin
